Plan of Shing Mun Reservoir Scheme with Catcment Areas Including the pipe line connecting this to Kowloon reservoirs and thence in a cross-harbour pipeline to Hong Kong Island. ( from The Far Eastern Review  the 1930s)

One of two reservoirs that appear on the 1889 map. They are labeled Sugar Works Reservoirs. Possibly built at the same time as the Sugar Refinery.

Was demolished about 1970 and used for housing estates and Taikoo Primary School.

This map shows the reservoirs and conduits as well as tanks and filter beds on Hong Kong Island that were operational in 1889.
