1950 Luna Park Revisited

Date picture taken (to nearest decade for older photos):
1950

My father took several photos of our visits to Luna Park in 1950 and I am sharing some of them here.  The first two photos show my mother and I seated at the rear of the train that ran around the park, and on the roller coaster ride. The photo of me on the airplane ride shows part of the building in the background.  I don't recall if that was the building that also housed the Sky Room lounge.

This undated photo of Anna Joaquina (Belle) Reed and Maria Rita (da Silva) Reed was probably taken the year Belle married Wilfred Alexander (Willie) Reed on August 21, 1939. They are pictured outside the family home at 8 Broadwood Road, Hong Kong.

This undated photo of Belle was taken in front of the family home at Lyemum Villas on Chatham Road where Joaquim and Angelina D'Almada e Castro resided with their three daughters, Phyllis, Molly and Belle, and son Dick. Belle was in her late teens when this photo was taken, possibly in 1927 when she was 18. The family eventually moved to a flat on Granville Road, Kowloon.
