This one was shot quite likely from the same spot as the others in this series. Unfortunately, its a bit too bright.
Clear visible right hand side on the slope there is a brownish/reddish building, this is Altadena House (finished 1974) at 27, Barker Road. Behind that is Cragside Mansion at 23, Barker Road. I believe I took this photo when walking up to Victoria Peak. Should be Mount Austin Road, this is similar to the one from 1966. Exact location might be on that part of the road that goes straight in south-westerly direction, somewhere above Mount Austin Road Playground. <Read more ...>

This is a panorama created from two photos (scald ID's 20899 and 20900) using Photoshop. In 1980, I was only interested in the Peak, so unfortunately the lower part of the Supreme Court Building is missing, and also right hand side of Chater Garden. I tried to find other images that would fit in there, but I was not successful.
