This was taken from Victoria Peak in north-westerly direction. The houses in front are in Sai Wan. The wide building in Sai Wan is Kwan Yick Building Phase 3 at 271-285 Des Voeux Road West, first occupation in 06/1978.

The slim tower in the circle is a ventilation shaft for the MTR track that crosses the harbour.

Mount Davis Youth Hostel, Hong Kong, 1983

The youth hostel atop Mount Davis (摩星嶺). The camera is facing northwestward.

Note the lighthouse on Green Island (青洲, right). The small island in the distance is Kau Yi Chau (交椅洲). Note also the long wake left by the Macao jetfoil.

View from the Peak Tower or a place nearby. Taken about 14 months later than http://gwulo.com/atom/23793. Tregunter Blocks are built completely. Note the progress just in front of #1 Garden Terrace (花園台) - 8 Old Peak Road [1983- ], Garden Terrace Block 1 is under construction, and Blocks 2 and 3 just started. Behind Garden Terrace the upper part of Villa Elegance (1 Robinson Road) is visible.

Peak Tramway - 3.2, Hong Kong, 1983

A photo taken from (quite likely) Barker Road. On the left-hand side is a house with a red roof, this is Villa Blanca (http://gwulo.com/node/5603).

Epworth Lodge is right-hand side of the tram station, for me it looks as if the house is without windows.
