Please note that the term "demolished" refers to the date on which cinema operation ended. 

Seating capacity: 1087 for Empire Theatre 璇宮,  1400 for State Theatre 皇都

Address: 291 King's Road, North Point, Hong Kong

The original theatre built on the site was the Empire Theatre which operated during the period December 11, 1952 - September 2, 1957.  After extensive renovations, the theatre resumed operation on February 8, 1959 and was named State Theatre.  It was closed on March 1, 1997.

Address: 30 Harbour Road, Sun Hung Kai Centre, Wan Chai, Hong Kong

The Cine-Art House operated during the period July 9, 1988 - December 1, 2006.  According to the Wikipedia source, the theatre on April 1, 2009 moved to and resumed operation at a new location in 九龍灣淘大商場 - Amoy Plaza, 77 Ngau Tau Kok Road in Kowloon Bay, Kowloon.  It appears the theatre remains in business at its new-found home. The operating period designated on this page refers to the period while operating in Wan Chai.
