Statue of Prince of Wales (later King George V), shown on this photograph was installed at Statue Square on the 6th of February 1907. At the back of the statue is the Supreme Court Building, completed in 1912. Originally named the Royal Square, it had a number of Royal statues displayed around the Square with the statue of Queen Victoria, in an ornate pavillion, in the centre. <Read more ...>
