Comment on Flickr: Judge from the rate the Laguna City towers were built and also the Kwun Tong Eastern Corridor development, the lower photo might be somewhat later than 1991, but not later than 1993.

Seems to be end of 1960's or even early 1970's as all buildings are completed. The date was set to 1969.

Vehicular Ferry Pier - Tsing Yi Shell LPG Bunker [????- ]

Hi there,

Spotted this one while on a bus on-route to Siu Lam last week.  This pier is a mirror image of the one in Apleichau.  Realized it was Shell by way of the canisters painted in Royal Blue.

Former Sai Wan Ho Vehicular Ferry Pier [1985-1991]

Hi there,

I could not remember exactly where was the old pier.   There used to be both a passenger ferry pier and a vehicular pier there.  The marker's location is just an approximation.  The pier was gone when Aldrich Bay was filled up for redevelopment in early 1980's.
