Good morning.  Apart from the obvious - that it is a car badge from POW association - does anyone have additional info - age/who had them etc.  Many thanks,

An earlier view from the 1950s was taken from a slightly different angle, and shows the main housing area was out of sight to the right of our photo. It also shows how the built-up area had expanded by the time this 1960s photo was taken.

List of Children in Stanley Camp

Here is a list of children in Stanley Camp aged up to 16yrs, as at 09/02/1944.  This is a list that I typed up maybe 20 years ago and is taken from something that looks fairly official that I was given at a reunion in HKG that I attended in the early days.

Manhole cover exhibition

Hi thete,

There is a Manhole Cover Exhibition at CACHe now.  It is approaching its last leg of the slot, but if you are in the area it is worth a visit.

The exhibition is a small one.  Anyone who had been to CACHe would know the room is not that big.  But the exhibition covered from the ship-building and foundry industires, with scaled models of wooden moulds of the covers.  There are also a small collection of the covers in the room.
