British Bicycle Co.
re: British Bicyle
the building it occupied was demolished at the end of the 1970s and replaced by China Hong Kong Tower in 1980. A directory of the same year places the shop at 3 Wood Road
British Bicycle Co.
Though the company was established in 1923, the advert shown on hkmemory is dated 1941. This building was probably built in the early 1930s, after Hennessy Road was laid out.
I remember there was an advertisement for Raleigh on Wanchai Road for several years. It was on the side of a bicycle shop next door to the CC Wu building.
