One of the unconverted Star Ferries that looks to be still burning coal. In the background a large cargo liner(?) is moored alongside what I think is the pier closest to the Star Ferry pier at Tim Sha Tsui. I cannot make out what the large structure is behind the liner - the dark side might(?) be the ships funnel but what is the other, lighter coloured bit? It looks as though this ferry, with itsenclosed section midships, was using the old star Ferry pier just prior to the new pier being opened - unless it was out of commission awaiting a refit. <Read more ...>
