Not much recognisable today. HK Electric's power station is extreme right belching out smoke from its chimney. Taikoo dockyard can be seen in the distance. A reservoir high on the hillside would have been a danger to those below if its walls were ever to breach. <Read more ...>
This photo was taken by my father either in the late 50's or early 60's - we had a yacht there in the marine - or "typhoon shelter" as it was called - and would venture out every weekend to one of the glorious bays or beaches around the island. <Read more ...>
