The outline of this building on a map from the 1930s [Plate 3-5b, Mapping Hong Kong] has the same outline as the Berlin Mission building from the 1900s.

Crossroads from No.5 Police/Fire Station

The Crossroads (Queens Rd/Wellington St) photo taken from the No.5 Police Station. This was found sometime ago on eBay where it was said to be taken at Chinese New Year, 1900.

 The original Water Police Station in TST was constructed in the mid-1860s and was superceded by the existing building, first occupied on 19 September 1884.
