Chinese in Hong Kong During WWII

I have read several books regarding the Japanese invasion and occupation of Hong Kong, 1941 - 1945.  Most have been autobiographical accounts given by those interred at Stanley during those years.  The remaining texts have been historical in nature.  All have been very useful to my understanding about what happened to Hong Kong and its European civilian and military population.

Old fire engine on displace at former Tsim Sha Tsui fire station

An old fire engine is on display outside the former TST fire station (at junction of Kowloon Park Drive & Salisbury Rd.).  Is it an engine that actually served HK?  Or it is just one purchased by the developer from abroad?

bodyguards & assassins - HK 1905

Hi, don't know if anyone's posted on this before; the film Bodyguards & Assassins in coming out in September. Set in Hong Kong in 1905, it recreates the world Sun Yat Sen lived in, while the studio rebuilt Victoria on a 1:1 scale.  From the trailer looks like they rebuilt Queens Road towards Sheung Wan. How cool is that?

here's the trailer anyway. Looks good

Kennedy Road

Dear all,

I am looking for photos and information on some of the old houses along the Wanchai stretch of Kennedy Road where St. Francis Canossion College is and eastwards to the end where it meets Queen's Road East.

No. 64 belonged to the Ngan family of the CMB and is the only one still standing but soon to go.

Where Amber Garden now is used to be 2 mansions.  No. 72 and 74, one was privately owned and the other was used by the Jesuits (not verified). Can anyone offer some photos and info on them?
