This is a picture of Mosque Street, taken from about where Palatial Crest stands today. 

The three rows of buildings in the background going left to right up the hill are Belilios Terrace (1st Generation) and the three houses upper right of Picture from left to right are Rocklands, Benfica and Richmond House. The building in the foreground are tenements on Mosque Street and Mosque junction

Victoria Harbour and Central from Star Ferry (1980)

Taken from the Star Ferry Pier TST or from a ferry just after leaving the pier. Despite the opening of the cross-harbour tunnel in 1972, car ferries still operate.

Seymour Terrace West Block [c.1865-c.1955]

Constructed in the 1860's. In 1949 only the two units on the eastern end of the building survived, where 62C & half of 62D Robinson Road now stand.

Cheung Tseung Tse Mansion [????-c.1920]

Appears on 1901 map unnamed 

 

Occupied in 1908 by Cheung Tseung Che, who established  a ship chandelling business with his brother called Messers Robert Jack & Co c1875. Firm is based at No 41 Connaught Road and is the biggest in the colony in 1908
