I am doing some research into the circumstances concerning the suicide of Senior Superintendent JJ (Jack) English CID/K in June 1976. He was found dead in the old Marine Police HQ building in Tsimshatsui in the early hours of 12 June 1976. I am his elder son. The purpose for this research is to inform the surviving members of the family of what happened, why it happened and any fall out following his death.
