The German Tennis Club - Deutscher Tennis Klub north to the junction Jordan Road - Gascoigne Road, Kowloon was established in 1927. There were two tennis courts an a small club house.

A segment from a Crown Lands Office 1928 map of the Kai Tak area. Over time the layout in the triangle next to the airfield nullah seems to have had streets added.

A visit to the Kowloon City rooftop of this silk emporium entitled you to a 'Near Miss' certificate. My son tells me the proprietor was one of his KGV teachers.
