A double-take on British roads for Hong Kong residents

It would be quite a shock for Hong Kong residents to see a CMB bus destined for Kennedy Town on British roads, but it is possible thanks to UK bus preservationists. These two were pictured in the UK in 2012. It is interesting how many owners they appear to have had over the years during their lives shuttling between the UK and HK and back to the UK.

Thanks to Lynn Seymour for this view over Kennedy Town.

You can see the old Incinerator's chimneys are still here, but wrapped in scaffolding in preparation for their demolition. That was part of the project to extend the MTR to Kennedy Town. The new station opened just a couple of days ago.
