Hong Kong residents, 1940-45

If you're trying to trace a person living in Hong Kong during those years, there's a good chance they're included in Tony Banham's extensive research of wartime Hong Kong.

Evacuated in 1940

Although Tony hasn't listed these people on his website, he's already gathered a lot of information about them for a future book. Here's the description from the "Book 4: Future Research" page on his website:

I read from a newspaper that there is now an exhibition of HK aviation history at the Airport.  According to the newspaper article, it is on the Departures level in Terminal 1.  Has anyone got a chance to have a look?  Is it worth heading all the way out to Chek Lap Kok to see it?

Any advice or tips on researching life in HK in 1895 please?

 Sorry, bit of a long introduction.

I am trying to piece together the early life of my grandfather and great aunt who were both born in Hong Kong in 1895 and 1898 respectively.  I wonder if any forum members may have any tips for my search. Research I have done so far:-
